COVID-19 Protocols

Dear Loyal Clients,

I hope you are well. With the quarantine and social distancing we have all been experiencing, it is great to be able to connect once again.

For those of you who would like to return for more treatments, I have outlined what you can expect from the time you book your appointment until you join me in the treatment room and right up until you leave. This outline is from the Natural Health Practitioners of Canada (NHPC) Handbook for reopening.

The protocols that we must all follow are as follows:

You can schedule your appointment time on GenBook as usual, however please be five minutes early for your appointment. If you are up to 15 minutes late, your treatment will only be 45 minutes rather than the full hour, as we must keep to a strict schedule.

When you arrive for treatment, you will see that I will have on either safety glasses or a shield, a provincial standard face mask, and an apron to protect clothing. I don’t need to wear gloves, but I will be using hand sanitizer before and after your treatment. There will also be hand sanitizer in the reception area and the treatment room for your use. The treatment room will be thoroughly sanitized before and after each client. This is the reason why I am keeping appointments 30 minutes apart.

Wearing a mask is optional, but it is preferred that you do for your safety, my safety, and the safety of other clients. If you choose to wear one, a cloth one of your own is fine, or I will provide one when you arrive. It is your choice whether you keep the mask on during treatment.

I will have a COVID-19 Consent Waiver for you to read and sign. I need to have the signed waiver before your treatment can begin.

After the treatment is completed, I will leave the room and you can dress. When you are ready, open the door, and I will come into the treatment room for payment. If you take off your disposable mask at this time, please put it in the lidded trash can for safe disposal.

After your treatment, you must leave the treatment room and the reception area immediately. Unfortunately, we have been advised that because of the social distancing rules, we will not be able to socialize with each other or other clients before or after treatments.

If you are not feeling well, please cancel your appointment and rebook for another time. There will be NO CANCELLATION FEE.

Thank you so much. I realize there are many new conditions we have to abide by, but it is for the safety of us all and hopefully this will help in overcoming this virus so that we can all get back to our normal daily lives.
